Gandhi Questions Shah’s Composure During Parliament Address
NEW DELHI: Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on Thursday reiterated his assertion that Union Home Minister Amit Shah displayed visible signs of nervousness during his Lok Sabha address on electoral reforms the previous day.
“He (Shah) used foul language. His hands were trembling. Mentally, he is under pressure, and it was seen in Parliament,” Gandhi told reporters outside the House.
The Leader of Opposition claimed Shah failed to provide substantive responses to his questions or present evidence to counter his allegations regarding electoral irregularities.

Open Challenge for Public Debate Goes Unanswered
Gandhi stated he had openly challenged the home minister to discuss the contents of his recent press conferences on electoral issues, but received no response.
“Whatever I had asked, he gave no replies and provided no proof. I challenged him openly to discuss over my press conferences, but nothing happened. Everyone now understands the reality,” the Rae Bareli MP asserted.
BJP Counters: Why Did Opposition Walk Out?
BJP MP Jagdambika Pal questioned why Gandhi and the opposition INDIA bloc left the House during Shah’s speech.
“Then why did he leave? People who flee, abandoning the field, the country watches them,” Pal said.
He defended the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, noting that even the Supreme Court found no reason to halt the process.
“When people went to the Supreme Court against SIR, the Supreme Court also said there is no reason to stop SIR… So how long will they keep blaming the Election Commission, voter list, EVM for their defeat?” Pal questioned.
